Apocalypse Code of Conduct

By playing Ashes of Creation Apocalypse, you, as part of our Glorious Ashes Community, agree to follow our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, as outlined below. Failure to follow our rules will result in disciplinary action against your Intrepid Account.

Harassment

We want everyone to have a fun and fair experience in Ashes of Creation Apocalypse. Be kind to others, Verra is counting on you! Harassment includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Publicly disclosing personally identifiable information of another End User or member of the Community.

  • Stalking, doxxing, or otherwise infringing on the privacy of any member of the Community.

  • Disparaging, defaming, name-calling, or engaging in any form of discrimination against another member of the Community.

  • Engaging in any act of sexual misconduct, including but not limited to sexual innuendo, sharing sexually explicit content, or making offensive or inappropriate advances or comments to a member of the Community.

  • Making false claims, tickets, or reports about events or any third party, regardless of their standing with the Community or Intrepid Studios.

 

Inappropriate Language

While light smack talking is okay considering the competitive nature of the game, extreme or hateful language in the game will not be tolerated.

This includes all types of hate speech and controversial topics, including (but not limited to): racism, sexism, politics, religion, suicidal ideation, excessive trolling, toxicity, abuse, etc.

 

Naming Policy

In addition to behavior and language in-game, your display name must be appropriate for gameplay. Names that are against the rules will be changed, and depending on the severity and content, may result in action taken on your account. You can also change your own display name within the game every 28 days. If your name is changed due to a violation of the naming policy, Customer Service will not bypass the cooldown for you.

It must not:

  • Contain personally identifiable information (including email, password, real name, etc.)

  • Contain any drug references, profanity, or any other inappropriate references/slang (this includes using phonetic spelling or 'sound alikes'.)
  • Contain any sort of hate speech or controversial topics (no racism, sexism, politics, religion, suicidal ideation, excessive trolling, toxicity, abuse, etc.)

  • Impersonate an Intrepid Studios Employee’s real name or in-game name, regardless of the reason.

 

Cheating and Third Party Programs

Leave the tricks and mischief to the trolls. To keep things fair and fun for everyone in the community, you may not cheat, exploit, or otherwise obtain an unfair advantage in-game. This includes (but is not limited to) the following:

  • Using third party software, programs, or tools.

  • Knowingly exploiting an in-game bug. Bugs should be reported immediately to our team for investigation.

  • Altering or modifying the game in any way.

  • In non-team modes (such as solos), teaming up with other players is prohibited. 

 

Account Trading

Keep your account secret, keep it safe. You may not trade, share, gift, sell, or purchase accounts. Doing so is not only against our Terms of Service, but it can compromise your personally identifiable information and security.

 

Employee Abuse

Harassment and abuse of Intrepid Studios Employees (including Customer Service) is not permitted. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Inappropriate or abusive language in a support ticket, email, social, or other channels.

  • Spam or harassment in a support ticket, email, social, or other channels.

  • Impersonating an employee.

  • Making false claims, tickets, or reports about events or any third party, regardless of their standing with the Community or Intrepid Studios.

    • Falsifying a player report will result in action against your account.

 

This is not an all-inclusive list - disciplinary action is on a case-by-case scenario, based on findings in our investigation. Multiple suspensions or bans on any of our games or services may result in permanent termination of any and all Intrepid Accounts. It is important to note that in no event will you be entitled to a refund due to account termination or deactivation, regardless of the reason.
