The 500 error you are encountering is generally the result of a network connectivity issue. In order to address this, please try the following:
- Ensure that your firewall is not blocking the game - you can do this by adding an exception for the program or temporarily disabling it while playing.
- Repair the Launcher with the installer - redownload the Launcher from the website, run it as Administrator, and select the “Repair” option (pictured below).
- Try running your system in a "clean boot" state - follow these instructions from Microsoft on how to start in a "clean boot" state.
- Try fully reinstalling the launcher with the installation file linked in Step 2.
